On Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, Alex Foster Pace completed his long journey home to the Lord.
Alex passed away comfortably at his home in Franklinton, where he was being cared for by close family members and his faithful friend, Adam Rojas.
Alex is survived by his life companion, Gail; daughter, Rhonda Bumgarner and granddaughter, Candice Mercer. Alex also leaves behind three sisters, Kathryn Davis, Joyce Maxine Greathouse and Patricia Markham. He will be missed greatly by many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and friends too numerous to count.
Over the course of his 50-plus year career as the owner-operator of a drywall company, Alex has touched the lives of many families, and leaves his presence behind in many homes in communities all over the United States.
A celebration of life memorial will take place Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Pocomoke Cowboy Church, 3516 West River Road, Franklinton, N.C.
