Ann P. Turnage, 76, of Raleigh, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the William Dunlap Hospice Home in Raleigh, after a long battle with a lung infection. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Merle Upchurch Phillips and Larry Vincent Phillips, and was married to Glenn Turnage, who preceded her in death.
A memorial service honoring her life was held May 6 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Vicki Sherk, of Raleigh, and Tracey Maxwell, of Zebulon; three grandchildren, Dylan Sherk, Jessi Maxwell and Michael Maxwell and his fiancee’, Casey; a great-grandson, Logan; and her two Boston Terriers, Ralph and Alice.
