ROLESVILLE — The Rolesville police department is now accepting applications for their free annual weeklong summer camp to educate kids on the importance of saying no to alcohol and drugs. This event is called Camp C.A.R.E. and is a partnership between the town of Rolesville and Wake County ABC.
The camp is for ages 9 through 12. The police department works on educating kids on drug and alcohol resistance, the effects of bullying, good citizenship, crime and violence, goal setting, decision making and the opportunity to understand what it is like to be under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled substances. The camp will be at held at Rolesville High School.
The police department has expanded to hosting two different one-week camps this year. Register soon as each camp will fill up fast.
