Rogers Road to close for week
A portion of existing Rogers Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Dec. 1.
According to a letter sent to town residents by Stratford Developers and Crowley & Associates, "the construction of the realignment of Rogers Road requires that the new roadway merge with the existing roadway northwest of Sir William Lane. Roadway grade will be altered, making through traffic impossible during the construction period." Instead, Rogers Road traffic will be detoured onto Burlington Mills and Forestville roads. Engineers expect that project to take a week. After the roads are aligned, traffic will be rerouted onto the new, realigned portion of Rogers Road which will intersect with Redford Place Drive at South Main Street.
