WAKE FOREST — Ashley Danielle Stover, daughter of Drs. Judy and Phillip Stover of Louisburg, and Samuel Jackson Craig IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pridgen of Denton, were married in Louisburg Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Louisburg United Methodist Church.
Ashley is the granddaughter of Ms. Audrey Stover of State College, Pa. and Ms. Antonette Liberatore of Canonsburg, Pa. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and Master of Science in literacy and has taught kindergarten at Long Mill Elementary School for seven years.
Samuel is the grandson of Ms. Mickie Rietzel of Roxboro. He spent 7 1/2 years serving in the U.S. Air Force and is now attending Wake Technical Community College, studying engineering.
The bride wore a Rosa Clara designer, beautiful, natural lace gown from Traditions by Ana. It featured a sweetheart neckline with a delicate lace applique. The fitted bodice gracefully flowed into a trumpet skirt with a cathedral length train. Delicate, covered buttons extended to the bottom of the bodice which added to the elegance of the bride’s gown.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Michelle Hildreth of Louisburg and sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Caroline Bethea and Kristen Carpenter, both of Louisburg; Amanda Boydston, of Henderson; Latina Edmonds, of Fayetteville; Brittany Hurd, of Franklinton and Jessica Lisane, of Durham.
The flower girls were Kora Coltrane and Sophia Howell, both of Raleigh.
The best man was Del Williams, U.S. Air Force, stationed in England. The ushers were Wayne Barber, Matthew Everidge, Elson Tracey, all of Goldsboro; Isaac Hurd, of Franklinton and Adam Johnson, of Washington D.C.
The ring bearers were Kip Coltrane of Raleigh and Calum Hildreth, nephew of the bride, of Louisburg.
The Rev. Madison Hankal officiated the wedding. The musicians were Brian Miller, on the organ, Phyllis Ihrie, on the piano and soloist Kaitlin Descutner, cousin of the bride. Descutner sang “The Prayer”.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Johnny Bull’s in Louisburg. The reception was held at Boondocks in Youngsville.
