YOUNGSVILLE — Meet new business owners and learn about area entrepreneurism during the upcoming annual Youngsville Area Business Association (YABA) Expo.
The event takes place Thursday, March 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 142 Youngsville Blvd., and is open to the public free of charge.
Forty businesses and six nonprofits have signed up so far to participate in this year’s event. Among the food vendors will be the newly opened Sweet Solutions by the Naked Baker from Youngsville along with Sweetie’s Candy Shop, Johnny Bulls Steak House from Louisburg, CookShack Catering and Chillbillies Snowball Factory.
Also represented are chiropractors, auto service businesses and urgent care centers, among others.
“Folks will be able to see some of the newer businesses in the area as well what a great choice of business there is,” said YABA Director Janis Cyrus.
Popular happenings from previous expos will be back again this year including popcorn from Strouds and YABA’s dispersal of coin purses with money tucked inside. Plenty of other vendors will have giveaways of their own including hotdogs from Hampton Village Apartment Homes.
All of the expo vendors are from Wake Forest, Louisburg, Rolesville and Youngsville areas, Cyrus said.
