ROLESVILLE — Join Brooke Parrish and her Buddies Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Rolesville town hall, 502 Southtown Circle, for a fundraising bash that promises to be a blast.
Brooke’s Buddies Bash
will raise funds for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) which in turn will directly support Brooke’s liver transplant needs.
Brooke is currently on the liver transplant list at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburg, Pa., as she suffers from hepatopulmonary syndrome.
COTA is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. COTA’s priority is to assure that no child or young adult is denied a transplant or excluded from a transplant waiting list due to lack of funds. All funds — 100 percent — raised in honor of transplant patients are used for transplant-related expenses.
The Buddies Bash is a
family fun day, filled with events such as DJ and dancing, hula hoop contests, cake walks, corn hole, a magic show, raffles and a silent auction.
Many items have been donated by area businesses – there’s something for everyone, even the family dog. Items include the categories of beauty, family fun, fitness, food and drink, accessories, photography, autographed items, rock climbing, Mudcats Luxury Sky box tickets and even Disney Park Hopper Passes.
