Youngsville CEO lauded
David S. Moody Jr., RPh, Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Wholesale Drug Company, was presented with the 2014 Nexus Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research and Genentech, Inc.
Presented June 2 at the HDMA 2014 Business and Leadership Conference in Phoenix, Ariz., the distribution industry’s highest individual honor, recognizing exceptional character and accomplishments, along with leadership in HDMA, the industry and community.
Moody grew up in Durham, working at Crabtree Pharmacy during high school. After graduating from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 1973, he became a pharmacist at the store and later owned the pharmacy from 1981 until 1988, when he joined Mutual Drug. Moody and his wife Dianne reside in Youngsville.
Bazaar moves north
The Wake Forest Bazaar has moved its location a couple of blocks north to the Cotton Company parking lot, 306 S. White Street. The bazaar runs from 7 a.m. to noon the second and fourth Saturdays of the month through October.

Wake Tech offers job-hunting class
As part of their Human Resource Development (HRD) program, The Wake County Northern Regional Center and Wake Tech are offering a class, Networking, Resources and Job Hunting.
The class is scheduled July 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 350 E. Holding Ave., in Wake Forest.
Fees for all HRD classes are waived for qualifying individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or who have received notice of layoff or pending layoff.
