Cary Louis Adams, 64, of Garner passed away Nov. 21, 2013.
Mr. Adams was born April 8, 1949 to Hilliard and Louise Adams in Wake County. He was educated in the Wake County Public School system. He later became a member of Apopka House of Prayer and Faith located in Apopka, Fla.
Mr. Adams became a long distance truck driver; an occupation that he held for many years. Due to his illness he retired from his job in 2012. After suffering with prostate cancer, he departed this life at Hospice of Wake County Home.
Mr. Adams leaves to mourn his wife, Etta Adams of Garner; one son, Paxton L. Adams (Cynthia) of Wake Forest; one daughter, Alishia Y. Adams of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren, T’Sharia, Payton Adams of Wake Forest, Joshua Adams, Jenae Alison of Atlanta; two sisters, Margaret March, and Ida Ely; one aunt, Ida Mae Davis; and a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his son, Carlton L. Adams.
The funeral service was Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Renaissance Funeral Home. Burial wasl at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Raleigh.
