The Pajama Program is a nonprofit organization providing new pajamas and books to children-in-need. The donated clothes will be distributed to kids aged newborn to 18 all over the local area.
Pajamas of all sizes will be accepted, however, the Youngsville WIN Chapter, led by Kathleen Jackson, is focusing on teen girl sizes and boys pajamas of all sizes. “The larger sizes and boys’ needs are sometimes overlooked. We want to focus on those needs in particular, but we’ll take pajamas of any size or variety,” she said.
The Youngsville WIN chapter are accepting donations through the end of May.
Drop off new pajamas at the following locations in Wake Forest: The Wake Weekly office, 229 E. Owen Ave., Wake Forest Coffee Company, 156 S. White St., The Grain Mill of Wake Forest, 352 S. White St., and Esthetics by Caris located inside of Atlas Chiropractic at 152 Capcom Ave. Suite 104.
