FRANKLINTON — The Franklin County Emergency Services Bravo Platoon Operations Captain Matt Wilson was recognized by the American Legion, Post 52, as the EMS representative for outstanding public service benefiting the community, state and nation March 14.
“Matt consistently sets a high standard of expectations for his platoon, earning him respect from his crew,” said county EMS Deputy Director John Wilson. “He is a valued asset to our EMS system.”
Matt Wilson has been in the EMS system since becoming a cadet with Franklinton Rescue. He has obtained his EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and EMT-Paramedic certifications.
Matt Wilson has also held the position of field training officer.
