Sponsored by Wake Forest ARTS and the Town of Wake Forest, and United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, the Six Sundays in Spring concert series will be held in 2014 on consecutive Sundays from April 27 through June 1. These free concerts are held at E. Carroll Joyner Park Amphitheater at 701 Harris Rd. in Wake Forest, getting underway at 5 pm in 2014. The music will be starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. but come early and stay late! Come join your friends and neighbors and make this year’s Six Sundays in Spring your best Sundays of the year! Weather Updates The stage at E. Carroll Joyner Park is covered this year for the first time, so we won’t have to cancel concerts in case of brief showers as in years past. In case of very inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St. in Wake Forest. The Centre cannot accommodate pets, picnics or lawn chairs. Our usual vendors will not relocate to the Centre; snacks and drinks can be purchased from the Centre. Updated concert information will be available by calling the Wake Forest Weather Line at 919-435-9569.
