FRANKLINTON — The Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC) Photo Guild’s annual photography show opened Thursday night during the bi-monthly FCAC Art Stroll in downtown Franklinton.
The show was judged by professional photographer and creative director Courtney Navy, with the following winners named:
Best in Show was awarded to Mary Katherine Powers, of Rolesville, for her photo, Irrigation.
Jim Liestman won first place in the black and white division with his photograph, Catskill Waterfall.
Margaret Hilpert took second place with Great Falls, and Pamela Andrejev won third place for her photograph, The Abyss.
In the color division, Norm Richardson won first place with Tobacco Row and Bow; and Mary Katherine Power took both second place with Dragonfly and third place with Cucumber Harvest.
The photographs will be on exhibit at Franklin County Arts Council Gallery, 22 S. Main St., Franklinton, through August. The gallery is open Thursday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
The next Art Stroll will take place Oct. 2.
