FRANKLIN COUNTY — The board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation awarded grants from its community fund, according to Al Wheless, board member.
This year’s nonprofit recipients include:
•Make a Wish Foundation for wish-granting in Franklin County,
•Prevent Blindness for their Star Pupils program,
•Girl Scouts N.C. – Coastal Pines, for their Community Outreach efforts, and
•Autism Society of N.C. for the Camp Royall Scholarship program.
Wheless thanked the community for support of the Franklin Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Franklin County’s community fund.”
