WAKE FOREST — Novelist and historian Robert H. Patton will appear at a program and book-signing Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wake Forest Historical Museum, 414 N. Main St.
The grandson of WWII General George S. Patton and relative to Wake Forest native Jody Totten, his fifth book, Hell Before Breakfast, was published in April by Random House. The book details the experiences of American war correspondents in 19th century Europe and Central Asia.
Patton is also the author of The Pattons: A Personal History of an American Family, and Patriot Pirates: The Privateer War for Freedom and Fortune in the American Revolution, among other works.
Sunday’s program is part of the museum’s temporary exhibit, Wake Forest in World War II.
