Welcome to this week’s fun filled adventure of video game consoles! Well Christmas is right around the corner, and we have seen pretty much every 2013 game released already. So I wanted to get a head start on next years console releases.
As a big Playstation fan, I am looking forward to the Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remastered Edition which is a visual upgrade of the original.
This game should easily join any role playing gamers library, not only for the fact that the original is highly rated, but it is one of the few turn based games on the PS3. Plus, you can’t help but fall in love with the characters and the touching story of a group of people determined to change the vicious cycle of sacrifice needed to sustain life on earth.
If that doesn’t win you over, then how about the use of magic in modern times? You can even personalize how you level up your stats every step of the way. Goodbye social life.
The good old original Halo team has put together a game called Destiny and she is looking pretty. The creators of the original Halo series, Bungie, has built a new world from the bottom up and boasts a new way to play co-op with friends. You will able to transition from single player to multiplayer pretty easily, and vice versa.
It is no surprise that the game is a first person shooter, but why give up something you are good at. This title, as any other multiplayer game, will hopefully have a solid single player campaign and an addictive online presence.
Q: Do you think it is good or bad that the list of games to be announced next year is longer than games that are actually being released?
As someone who has video game binges instead of a constant stream of gaming, I think that it is good that companies want more time to develop these games.
I have waisted my fair share of money on newly released games that were horrible and not even worth trade in value. I would rather wait patiently for a gem to be crafted.
