WAKE FOREST — The Wake Forest Christmas parade, which starts at Elm and South White Street, begins at 1 p.m., Saturday Dec. 13, with floats lining up along Holding and South White streets as early as 10 a.m.
The parade continues on South White Street from Elm Avenue to Wait Avenue, heads down Wait and then turns right on Brooks Street. The parade, which is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours, ends at Renaissance Place.
Beginning at 10 a.m., no vehicles, other than parade entries, will be allowed to enter Holding Avenue or South White Street.
At noon, no parking will be allowed along the Parade route.
All routing of traffic will be enforced by the Wake Forest Police Department for the safety of the parade participants and spectators. The police may, at their discretion, close the streets at any time for public safety concerns.
