To the Editor:
Usually the articles by Jean McCamy are interesting and upbeat — a respite from all the opinions, opinions, opinions. But this week it seems she, too, cannot resist putting in her two cents, as they say.
I must say I do not agree with anything she says, except perhaps the fracking item. But instead of going through each complaint one by one (many of them based on misinformation), let me just remind Ms McCamy that the citizens of North Carolina had an election last fall. They voted for and put in office the legislators she is so upset with.
This sounds like a case of sour grapes and a longing to have power again. Why not give the legislators a chance and see the end results of their policies on the overall prosperity of North Carolina? Then if she is still dissatisfied, she can vote for some other folks in the next election.
