LOUISBURG — A strategic plan for the Franklin County School System is beginning with a survey for internal and external customers during the month of November.
The information collected fro the survey will serve as the foundation for the plan to be developed. Without a current strategic plan in place the data collected will be the first step toward a new mission statement and provide a planning path for the new superintendent coming in January. Results are scheduled to be available in January or February 2014.
The two of the four questions on the survey ask what are the top five skills a student must learn for future success and for input of three goals the parent or guardian would like to see implemented in Franklin County Schools.
To participate in the brief survey see tiny.cc/FCS2013PlanSurvey. For residents without internet access hard copies are available at the Franklin county School System Office located at 53 W. River Road.
