WAKE FOREST — The Heritage High School PTSA has officially unveiled five beautiful silk banners made by Heritage High School art students.
The banners are located in the school lobby.
Art students participated in an artist-in-residency program with award-winning artist Leni Newell. Newell spent five days with students in a collaboration to create the silk banners. Her residency was funded by the school’s PTSA along with a partial grant from the United Arts Council
Each banner represents a facet of the Arts program at the school:
•Visual — Creative Spark
•Dance — Narrative of Movement
•Band — Song of Hope and Harmony
•Theater — Ribbons of Helping Hands
•Chorus — A Global Language
