WAKE FOREST—Home sales throughout Wake County continue to improve, according to the October Wake County Multiple Listing Service report.
The master-planned community of Heritage is experiencing similar growth—outpacing the market with record sales. When compared to the October Wake County MLS, Heritage list-to-sale prices beat the market average by nearly 5 percent, consistently averaging 100 percent for the year.
Heritage has year-to-date monthly sales of $8 million and just had its best October with 22 home sales.
“We have inventory and it’s selling,” says Andy Ammons, Heritage developer. “We anticipate this to continue through the end of the year and hope to see the same trends for the rest of the market. This is such a shift from where we were just a few years ago. It’s an exciting time in Wake County real estate.”
