Frances Privette Frazier Davis, 90
Frances Privette Frazier Davis, 90, of Rolesville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Ellis and Eva Jones Privette. Mrs. Davis was the owner and operator of Wake Forest Florist from April, 1964, through her semi-retirement in 1975-1990.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Frazier of Wake Forest; grandsons, Brian Frazier and his wife, Afton, of Youngsville; Brandon Frazier and his wife, Lauren, of Wake Forest; sisters, Edith Edwards of Zebulon; Mozelle Moulton and her husband Roger, of Wake Forest; and five great-grandchildren, Kendall, Chloe, Dylan, Bryceson and Layla. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, William Joseph Frazier and Sam Davis; her son, William Howard Frazier; and her brothers, James Privette and June Privette.
Funeral services were Jan. 29 at Rolesville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges and the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery officiating. Burial was in Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Al Privette, Rodney Privette, Lin White, Grady Poole, Donnie Edwards and Kris Mobley.

Bobby Wess Jones Jr.
Bobby Wess Jones Jr. of Wendell, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Wake County, the son of Lillie Belle Williams Jones and Bobby W. Jones Sr.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Linda Jones; children, Chris and his wife, Sandy, of Wendell; Angel and Aaron, both of the home; and Dale of Pilot; his mother, Lillie Belle Jones of Rolesville; mother-in-law, Doris Nalesnik of Florida; two brothers, Mike Jones and his wife, Terry, of Zebulon; Greg Jones and his wife, Judy, of Wendell; grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon and Christian. He was predeceased by his father, Bobby Jones Sr. and his grandparents, Lee and Willie Jones and Elwood and Lennie Williams.
Funeral services were Feb. 3 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.

Margaret Vines, 48
Margaret Vines, 48, of Wake Forest, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at her home. She was born on Aug. 7, 1961, in Wake County, the daughter of Wilbert and Hazel Jeffreys.
Ms. Vines is survived by four children, Masondric, Katina, Patrick and Desmond, all of Wake Forest; a brother, Wilbert Jeffreys and his wife, Cassina, of Wake Forest; a sister, Sheila Jones and her husband, Billy, of Bunn; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral was Feb. 3 at Feggins & Feggins Funeral Chapel in Wake Forest. Burial was at the Riley Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wendell.
Sean Barrett Watts, 33
Sean Barrett Watts, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Youngsville, died unexpectedly, Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. He was born in Wake County and was a graduate of N.C. State University. Sean was employed as a systems analyst with John Deere Corporation in Moline, Ill.
Sean is survived by his parents, Don and Fran Watts of Youngsville; a brother, Drew Watts; grandparents, Evelyn Bracknell of Franklinton; and Muriel D. and Alice C. Watts of Asheville. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Walter Bracknell.
A memorial service honoring Sean’s life was Jan. 31 at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville.

Helen E. Meyer, 86
Helen E. Meyer, 86, of Youngsville, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Universal Health Care. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Rayner Soltow. She was a former church organist.
Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband of 63 years, Herbert Meyer; children, Kathleen Romeo and her husband, Richard; Paul Meyer and his wife, Roxanne; Jeffrey Meyer and his wife, Teresa; and Jim Meyer and his wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at Wake Forest United Methodist Church, 905 S. Main St., with the Rev. Donald Warren officiating.

Iva Mae Barham, 84
Iva Mae Tart Barham, 84, of Wake Forest, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at her home. She was born in Johnston County, the daughter of the late Etta and Henry Tart. She was a seamstress at Rolesville Garment Company for many years.
Mrs. Barham is survived by her sons, Daylon Wheeler and his wife, Betty; and Thomas Wheeler, all of Wake Forest; two daughters, Wanda Barham of Youngsville; and Sharon Davis and her husband, Danny, of Louisburg; beloved pet, Trixie; sister, Lillie Pearl Spence of Clayton; her brothers, Melvin Tart and Bradley Tart of Clayton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, William J. “Red” Barham, and by her daughter, Carolyn Hawks.
Funeral services are today (Thursday) at 2 p.m., at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ronald Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Joseph Edward Lunsford, 68
Joseph Edward Lunsford, 68, of Louisburg, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at his home in Louisburg.
He was born on Oct. 22, 1941, in Newport News, Va., the son of the late Joseph Mac and Elsie Frances Romeika Lunsford.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Radford; a son, Scotty Lunsford and his wife, Lorraine, of Cary; four daughters, Elaine Frances Vitek and her husband, Greg, of Raleigh; Janet Lunsford Lewis and her husband, Matt, of Rolesville; Michelle Anderson of Clayton; and Florence Edith “Christy” Lunsford of Louisburg; his step-daughter, Kim Wester Lee and her husband, Mike, of Raleigh and 11 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Edna Wilson.
The funeral is today (Thursday) at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh. Interment will follow the service at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
