Engagements - We are happy to include the announcements of your engagement, wedding and showers/parties in the paper. We consider information concerning each newsworthy and ask that information about each be submitted as they occur. Please fill out this form legibly and submit it to our offices (with a photo if you desire) before 5 p.m. the Thursday prior to the desired publication date. If neither the bride nor groom live in our circulation area, please include the reason why you want the story published locally (grandparents live here, etc.). Weddings - Please fill out these forms legibly and return them to our offices no later than 5 p.m. the Thursday prior to the wedding. The story and photo will be published the following Thursday. Submitted photographs should be mailed or delivered to the above address and will be available for pickup at The Wake Weekly office the day of the announcement's publication. E-mailed photos are accepted, but must be at least 200 dpi (dots per inch) and no smaller than 4x6 inches. Send photos via e-mail to email@example.com.
