Joe “Buddy” Eddins Jr., 65, of Rolesville, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at Transitions Life Care Center in Raleigh. He was born in Wake County, son of the late Lillian Alice Weathers Eddins and Joe Willard Eddins Sr. Buddy was the owner and operator of the Rolesville Market until 1990.
At Buddy’s request, a private graveside funeral service was held Wednesday, June 4, in the Rolesville Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery and the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Ann Alford Eddins; daughters, Tammy Perry (Bryan) and Terri Eddins (Buck Smith); a son, Jay Eddins (Kelly); sisters, Patsy Woodlief (Donnie) and Phyllis Daniel (James); grandchildren, Meri Ashlen, Chelsea, Brittany, Seth, Haley, Trey and Maci.
