Louis F. Novello Jr., 67, of Wake Forest, formerly of Wantage, N.J., passed away, Saturday, June 28, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Novello was born in Elizabeth, N.J. September 5, 1946, to the late Louis Frank Novello and Rose Ray Novello. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was a police officer with the New Jersey State Police, retiring after 25 years. During his career, he was a delegate and member of the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association. He was also a member of the Franklin, New Jersey Masonic Lodge. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.
Mr. Novello is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marcia Suzan Novello; children, Louis Justin Novello and wife, Elizabeth, of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and Kirsten Nicole Olsen and husband, Scott, of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Max Liam Novello, Hannah Rose Novello, Alexandria Paige Olsen and Spencer Michael Olsen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Gloria I. Fenster, of San Francisco, Calif.; and nieces, Ashley Glenn, of Los Angeles, and Tara Potashnik, of Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Milat.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
