WAKE FOREST — Wake Forest Art & Frame Shop is hosting its first Turn of the Century Paris showcase this Saturday, Sept. 23. The downtownWake Forest shop will feature the work of prominent artists from Paris for a day of fun and romance.
Featured artists include Matisse, Gauguin, Van Gogh and Monet. The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. it is open to all ages and treats will be served. The later hours, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., are reserved for adults. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served; live music will be played.
The showcase is co-sponsored by the Sparks of Genius Foundation.
A raffle will be held during the event to support Note in the Pocket, a charity that provides clothing to impoverished and homeless school children in Wake County.
Wake Forest Art & Frame is located at 139 S. White St., across the street from the Depot Parking lot.
