WAKE FOREST — The Miracle League of the Triangle has opened registration for its 20th season. The program provides a safe, positive environment for those with disabilities to play baseball and be part of a team.
The Miracle League of the Triangle offers both youth and adult programs. Teams are divided by age and grade levels. Only 15 players can be on one team’s roster.
The baseball games are non-competitive and last roughly one hour. Volunteer coaches will be on the field, working one-on-one with the players to emphasize fun and safety.
The Miracle League of the Triangle has had so much demand over the past 20 years, they had to partner with the YMCA of the Triangle to build another field in north Raleigh near Wakefield.
