FRANKLIN COUNTY, A NORTH CAROLINA BODY POLITIC, Plaintiff, vs CHARLES R. ROY, ET AL., Defendant.
Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Franklin County, North Carolina, made and entered in this action, the undersigned commissioner will on the 29th day of January, 2016, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Franklin County, North Carolina, in Louisburg at 10:00 a.m. the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Description: that tract, parcel, or lot of real estate situated in Dunn Township, Franklin County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as follows:
That tract containing 60.384 acres designated as Conservation Easement on the Boundary Survey by DSA Design Group shown on plat thereof dated April 24, 1991, entitled, “Property of the United States of America, Prepared for: the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Tax Map I-11, Parcels 14 & 14C, Dunn Township, Franklin County North Carolina” which is recorded in the Franklin County Registry Plat File #3, Slide 91-77.
See deed from James T. Moss and Susan C. Moss, Husband and Wife, and Charles L. Grant (being the same as Charles Grant as shown in that Deed recorded in Book 960, Page 841, Franklin County Registry) and wife, Elizabeth Grant, Husband and Wife, and James M. Adams, Sr. (being the same as James Adams as shown in that Deed recorded in Book 960, Page 841, Franklin County Registry) and wife, Gayle W. Adams, Husband and Wife to Laurie Ann Rhode and Charles Randolph Roy, recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Franklin County in Book 1038, Page 059.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgement in the above-entitled cause. A cash deposit of $750.00 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars) or five percent (5%) of the successful bid, whichever is greater, will be required at the time of the bid.
