FRANKLIN COUNTY, A NORTH CAROLINA BODY POLITIC, Plaintiff, vs SAMUEL EVANS, MARGIE EVANS, STEVEN E. HIGHT, TRUSTEE, E. HUGH HIGHT, JR., JEAN L. HIGHT, LIENHOLDER, Defendants.
Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Franklin County, North Carolina, made and entered in this action, the undersigned commissioner will on the 29th day of January, 2016, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Franklin County, North Carolina, in Louisburg at 10:00 a.m. the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Description: that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being located in Louisburg Township, Franklin County, North Carolina,
That certain Lot No. 2 of the land formerly known as the Annie B. Gill land situated in Louisburg Township, Franklin County, North Carolina, on the southwest side of S.R. 1414, which road is known as the Louisburg-Moulton Road and runs in a northeasterly direction from U.S. 401 at a point about two miles north of Louisburg, N.C., said Lot No. 2 being particularly described according to a map or plat prepared by Jesse Parrish, R.L.S., designated as “Annie B. Gill land, Louisburg Township, Franklin County, North Carolina”, dated January 28, 1972, said map being of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Franklin County, North Carolina, in Map Book 11, Page 92, and said map and the metes and bounds of said Lot No. 2 as shown on said map are incorporated herein by reference as a part of this description. And being the same land described in deed from Hill Yarborough, Commissioner to C.W. Robbins, recorded in Book 707, Pages 261-263 in the office of the Franklin County Register of Deeds.

The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgement in the above-entitled cause. A cash deposit of $750.00 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars) or five percent (5%) of the successful bid, whichever is greater, will be required at the time of the bid.
