Phyllis Annette Black, 54 of Wake Forest, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at her residence. She was born Apr. 2, 1959 in Buffalo, N.Y., to Dorothy Walker Black and the late James O. Black.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy, of the home; daughter, Lashuntae Black of Raleigh; two grandsons, Tyrique and Taevion Stewart, both of Raleigh; four sisters and brothers, Vickie B. Richardson (Kenneth) of Wake Forest, Robin E. Black, of the home, Brandon C. Black, of Raleigh, and Terry A. Black (Natasha), of Youngsville; 12 aunts, six uncles and two great-great aunts. Also surviving are special loyal friends, Glenda Robinson of Buffalo, and Holly Williams of Louisburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. at Old Liberty Baptist Church in Youngsville. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.
