The public will take notice that the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Wake Forest will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th day of December 2012 in the Board Room at Town Hall on the question of a contiguous annexation request petitioned by Joseph S. Sheetz for the property located at 1895 South Franklin Street comprising 4.07 acres being Wake County Tax Pin No. 1840-51-8965.

BEGINNING at a 0.75” iron pipe found on the northern, 90 foot right of way(r/w), of Rogers Road, the southeastern corner of New Lot 1, as recorded at Book of Maps 2012, Pages 281-282, WCR, said beginning point also having NAD 83/2007 coordinates of North: 800,843.88 and East: 2,145,453.13 feet, thence from said beginning point clockwise along this northern r/w of Rogers Road, north 41°01’28” west and 81.74 feet to a 0.75” iron pipe, thence continuing along said northern r/w, 164.39 feet along the arc of a curve to the northwest, with a radius of 1000.00 feet and a chord bearing and distance of north 45°44’02” west and 164.20 feet, to a point, thence continuing along said northern r/w, north 40°58’22” west and 21.44 feet to a point, thence continuing along said northern r/w north 41°12’24” west and 50.22 feet to a 0.75” iron pipe, thence leaving said northern r/w, north 08°06’41” west and 83.33 to a 0.75” iron pipe found on the eastern, 85 foot r/w of South Franklin Street, thence along said r/w, north 37°32’42” east and 400.26 feet to a 0.75” iron pipe, thence continuing along said r/w, 107.57 feet along the arc of a curve to the northeast, with a radius of 1005.00 feet and a chord bearing and distance of north 34°28’44” east and 107.52 feet, to a 0.75” iron pipe in a rock pile, thence leaving said r/w south 19°46’56” east and 469.86 feet to a 0.75” iron pipe on the western bank of Smith Creek, thence south 36°16’26” west and 253.43 feet to a 0.75” iron pipe, thence south 49°11’50” west and 110.61 feet to the point and place of BEGINNING, containing 4.07 acres, more or less according to Book of Maps 2012, Pages 281-282, reference to which is made for a more particular description.

The hearing will take place during the Board of Commissioner’s regularly scheduled meeting on December 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall at 301 S. Brooks St.
