Kirnos responded to a three-vehicle collision on Capital Boulevard near Club Villas Drive July 20 at 4:05 p.m. According to the police report, Faithann Morton Banks, 17, 116 Timberlake Drive, Youngsville, was traveling north on Capital Boulevard in her Toyota car when an SUV driving in front of her allegedly swerved into the other lane, exposing stopped traffic. Banks did not have time to brake, and collided with the rear of a GMC car driven by Charles Leslie Wilson, 39, 8405 Fawncrest Drive, Raleigh. That collision caused Wilson to collide with the rear of a Nissan car driven by Johnny Joe Brodie, 55, 3718 Aztec Lane, Franklinton. Banks was taken to WakeMed with evident injuries.
