•Samuel Johnson, 50, 216 S. Cheatham St., was arrested by Bishop for misdemeanor trespassing and failure to appear after a report of Johnson panhandling at the Franklinton Square shopping center. Franklinton police had instructed Johnson previously not to return to the shopping center. Sept. 13, 12:03 p.m.
•A Timberline Drive resident reported aggravated assault and larceny after two men allegedly robbed him on College Street and took a carton of cigarettes, his mother’s iPhone and keys to his car. Police are investigating. Sept. 16, 2:32 p.m.
•A Dogwood Lane resident reported larceny of a motor vehicle after someone drove off with her 2004 Dodge Stratus from Academy Village Apartments. Sept. 13, 11:31 p.m.

•Daniel Lee Luck, 41, 615 E. 3rd St., Wendell, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and assault on a female by Officer S.D. Chiari Sept. 14, 3:50 a.m. on Heritage Lake Road. Luck was transported to Wake County Jail.
•Kirstie Michelle Pienta, 22, 3003 Phillips Fairway Dr., Charlotte, was charged with driving while impaired. Officer J.L. McArthur made the arrest on Marshal Farm Street Sept. 13, 4 p.m. Pienta was taken to jail.
•Brenda Faye Wardrett, 50, 909 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, was taken into custody on an order for arrest for failure to appear in Vance County Court for a traffic citation. She was arrested on South Main Street Sept. 12, 11:53 a.m. by Officer D. Kirnos, and taken to jail.
•Ronald Ellis Benson, 34, 1316 Hosmer Ct., was arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear on Capital Boulevard, Sept. 12, 9:50 a.m. by Officer A.L. Albert. Benson was taken to jail and held on $12,000 bond.
•William Arthur Edgerton, 53, 4000 Forestville Rd., was arrested for three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear on Bratt Avenue, Sept. 12, 8:33 a.m. by Officer T.R. Gamber. Edgerton was stopped for fictitious tags when it was determined he had active warrants. He was taken to jail on $6,500 bond.
•Christopher Lee Lewis, Jr., 17, 299 Steven Taylor Rd., Youngsville, was arrested for possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana on East Juniper Avenue Sept. 11, 5:30 p.m. by Officer J.T. Boone. Lewis was taken to jail on $3,000 bond.
•Angel Diamon Perry, 24, 150 Daisy Lane, Henderson, was arrested for two counts of simple worthless checks and three counts of misdemeanor failure to appear on Burlington Mills Road Sept. 11, 2:17 p.m. by Officer Gamber. Perry was transported to jail.
•Larry Burnette Andrews, 48, 1160 Gordon Moore Rd., Franklinton, was charged with failure to return rental property. He was arrested on Capital Boulevard Sept. 11, 2:41 p.m. by Officer B. Loveless and taken to jail.
•Gerardo Edward Chacon, 37, 835 Whites Ln., Wendell, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. He was arrested on Capital Boulevard Sept. 11, 1:40 p.m. by Officer J. Leconey and taken to jail.
•James Joseph Entwisle, IV, 43, 1420 S. Wilmington, Raleigh, was arrested for damage to real property, violation of a domestic violence protection order, and domestic criminal trespassing on Ligon Mill Road by Officer J.L. Chitwood. Entwisle was taken to jail.
•Shane Michael Borah, 20, 4058 Old Franklinton Rd., Franklinton, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a full container of wine, liquor or malt beverage by an unauthorized person and driving with permanently revoked license by Officer C. Minor Sept. 10, 11:59 a.m. on South Main Street. Borah was issued a citation and released.
•Lance Douglas Breneman, 25, 8481 Falkirk Ridge Ct., was arrested for misdemeanor larceny at Walmart Sept. 9, 11:54 a.m. by Officer R. Burchett. Breneman was cited and released.
•Justin Anthony Shank, 29, 291 Linton-Carlyle Rd., Zebulon, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a schedule VI drug by Officer S.O. Woods Sept. 9, 8:10 a.m. on Capital Boulevard. Shank was cited and released.
•Diane Marie McClain, 58, 4300 Willow Lake Road, Raleigh, was arrested and taken to jail for driving while impaired. She was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and having an open container of alcohol after consumption.
McClain was arrested following a crash where it was determined she drove her 2011 Volkswagon into the back of a 2009 Nissan driven by Alba Matlock of Wake Forest while they were traveling west on Dr. Calvin Jones Highway, at the intersection with Capital Boulevard.
In his crash report, Officer N.S. Dillard, wrote that he was unable to speak with McClain after the collision due to her impairment.
Matlock was transported to WakeMed North by EMS, with unknown injury status. Sept. 9, 12:37 a.m.
•Nakeen Jamall Johnson, 24, 532 Lark Lane, Rocky Mount, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, assault on a female, communicating threats, resisting public officers, first and second degree trespassing, misdemeanor trespassing by breaking and entering, and interfering with emergency communication. He was arrested by Officer B.A. Jernigan Sept. 8, 10 p.m. on North Allen Road and taken to jail where he was held of $41,000 secured bond.
•Almud McHale C. Williams, 24, 105 Ben Foster Dr., Louisburg, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana, maintaining a place to sell controlled substances, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an open alcohol container in the passenger area, and a traffic offense. He was arrested by Officer E.F. Genao, Sept. 7, 4:35 p.m. on Wait Avenue. Williams was transported to jail and held on $4,000 secured bond.
•Monique Attelia Phillips, 27, 1016 Wait Ave., was arrested for three counts of misdemeanor failure to appear by Officer B. Loveless, Sept. 7, 4:22 p.m. on Wait Avenue. She was taken to jail.
•Jacoby Lee Bernard, 23, 211 Caddell St., was arrested by Officer D. Kirnos on Caddell Street for assault on a female, Sept. 9, 2:36 p.m. Bernard was taken to jail. Jasmine Sade Farmer, 19, 211 Stokes St., Durham, was also arrested for damage to personal property by Kirnos. Farmer was cited and released.
•James Allan Gartland, 37, 3709 Amberwine Lane, was arrested on Capital Boulevard by Officer N.S. Dillard for driving while intoxicated, Sept. 7, 3:25 a.m. Gartland was jail.
•Lewis Anthony Fowler, 38, 200 N. Franklin St., was arrested for on Burlington Mills Road by Officer C. Minor for driving while intoxicated, Sept. 6, 4:45 p.m.. He was taken to jail and held on a $2,500 secured bond.

•Joey Bradsher Moss, 26, 2503 N.C. 39 Highway South, Henderson, was arrested for misdemeanor hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, and property damage by Officer S.D. Chiari Sept. 5, 4:58 p.m. on Capital Boulevard. He was taken to jail.

•An employee of Sheetz, U.S. 1, reported trespassing after a person previously trespassed from Sheetz returned to the property. Sept. 12, 11:19 p.m.
•The Youngsville Police Department reported loose dogs near the intersection of South College Street and Country Brooke Lane. The owner was notified and the dogs were placed back into the pens. Animal Control was notified of the incident. Sept. 12, 4:25 p.m.
•An employee of Electric Power Systems, West Main Street, reported a suspicious person was operating a remote control car on the business property. The person could not be found after the police arrived. Sept. 11, 1:30 p.m.
•Kayla Fletcher, 18, 80 Oak Leaf Trail, Youngsville, was arrested by Deputy N. Rinker for misdemeanor damage to property after allegedly destroying her great-grandmother’s bedroom and becoming aggressive towards her over money, according to incident reports. Sept. 12, 12:10 p.m.
•Remore Allen Smith, 312, 738 Ferrell’s Bridge Road, Louisburg, was arrested by Deputy J. Wells for felony larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses. Sept 12, 4:30 p.m.
•Patrick Wayne Lewter, 33, 439 Hales Store Road, Zebulon, was arrested by Deputy R. Lagnante for felony assault causing serious injury. Sept. 10, no time given.
•Kristen Height, 30, 55 White Pines Mobile Home Park, Louisburg, was arrested by Deputy G. Stanly for misdemeanor domestic assault. Sept. 8, 2:55 a.m.
•Alexander William Carrol, 28, 100 South Ridge Drive, Bunn, was arrested by Detective K. Gunter for felony possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to sell marijuana and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance. Sept. 4, 4:30 p.m.
•Michael Ray Markham, 45, 219 North Raleigh Farm Road, Youngsville, was arrested by Deputy M. Hart on felony warrants for breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretenses. Deputies discovered Markham had outstanding warrants after they responded to a report of simple assault at the property, according to incident reports. Aug. 14, 8 a.m.
•A Green Hill Road, Franklinton, resident reported larceny after discovering a 10-15 gold rings worth $1,500 were missing from a camper on the residence. Sept. 12, 10:12 p.m.
•A Keith Store Road, Wake Forest, resident reported damage to property and a domestic dispute after she went to retrieve a key to her vehicle from her ex-husband. After he refused to give her the key he allegedly pushed and kicked her. She stated he also kicked the rental car and threw rocks at the vehicle while threatening to kill her. No arrests were made and deputies advised the victim to pursue a domestic violence protective order. Sept. 12, 7:51 p.m.
•A Dyking Road, Louisburg, resident reported a domestic dispute after her husband called and threatened her and a friend. Her husband was never at the residence. The victim stated to the deputies that she was scared for her life and her husband’s life because he was a severe alcoholic. Deputies went to the residence of the husband and he stated he would get divorce papers and not come to her residence anymore, according to incident reports. Sept. 12, 5:42 p.m.
•A Jeffrey’s Road, Louisburg, resident reported larceny after someone took a 28-foot ladder from property at 13 Dement Lane. Sept. 12, 4:41 p.m.
•A Sims Bridge Road, Franklinton, resident reported larceny after someone took her son’s bicycle from the property, Sept. 12, 3:44 p.m.
•A Hummingbird Lane, Franklinton, resident reported larceny after a male driving a black Ford F-150 removed 15 pieces of lumber from a construction site at 41 Hummingbird Lane. Sheriff’s deputies will further investigate the situation. Sept. 12, 3:25 p.m.
•A Moulton Road, Louisburg, resident reported larceny and damage to property after someone allegedly cut a well pump free from the water and electrical lines connecting it and took the well pump. Sept. 12, 10:53 a.m.
•A Ferrell’s Bridge Road, Louisburg, resident reported larceny after someone took a trailer and a toolbox from the backyard of his property overnight. The items were later found at a residence on Alford Mull Road, Bunn and returned to the victim. Sept. 12, 8:03 a.m.
•A Rustic Ridge Road, Franklinton, resident reported a domestic dispute after an argument ensued about using all the gas in the victim’s vehicle. No arrests were made. Sept. 11, 7:38 p.m.
•A Brewster Drive, Raleigh, resident reported a possible breaking and entering at an unoccupied residence on Laurel Mill-Centerville Road, Louisburg, after a suspicious vehicle was at the property and they noticed a broken window in the back of the residence. Sept. 11, 5:54 p.m.
•An employee of Vance Granville Community College reported larceny after someone took a laptop from the school store of the Louisburg Campus. Sept. 11, 9:07 a.m.

•A Pete Smith Road, Louisburg, resident reported damage to property and shots fired into an occupied dwelling after a neighbor fired five shots from his .38 caliber pistol resulting in one of the bullets accidentally hitting the victim’s roof, causing damage. The neighbor apologized and told deputies he would not fire his pistol in the air again. No arrests were made. Sept. 10, 5:32 p.m.
•A Hidden Stream Drive, Youngsville, resident reported a domestic dispute after an argument ensued from drinking too much alcohol. No arrests were made. Sept. 9, 5:52 p.m.
•A Ronald Tharrington Road, Louisburg, resident reported an attempted breaking and entering. After she returned home she noticed her back door had visible marks on it from someone trying to forcibly enter the residence. Nothing was reported missing. Sept. 9, 3:35 p.m.
•An employee of Argand Energy Solutions, Westinghouse Boulevard, Charlotte, reported larceny of copper wires from an enclosed facility located on Firetower Road, Louisburg. Sept. 9, 9:57 a.m.
•A Johns Drive, Bunn, resident reported an assault after a person allegedly hit her twice. The suspect is known to reside in Nash County. No arrests were made. Sept. 9, 8:21 a.m.
•A Gentlewinds Drive, Franklinton, resident reported shots fired after a red Ford Mustang pulled up in front of the residence and a person in the vehicle fired two shots at the house. Sheriff’s deputies are further investigating. No injuries were reported. Sept. 9, 1:02 a.m.
•A Raymond Tharrington Road, Louisburg, resident reported animal problems after her neighbor allegedly poisoned her cats. Two died and the other two were taken by Franklin County Animal Control. Deputies are investigating. Sept. 8, 11:12 a.m.
•A Bridal Trail, Youngsville, resident reported larceny after her son allegedly took a Toshiba laptop from the residence. Sept. 8, 12:08 p.m.
•An N.C. 561, Louisburg, resident reported assault with a deadly weapon. After noticing a strange vehicle parked in his driveway he walked outside to see who was inside the vehicle and the driver began to accelerate quickly trying to strike the victim with the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Sheriff’s deputies are investigating. Sept. 8, 10:06 p.m.
•A Cone Drive, Franklinton, resident, reported damage to property after her front driver’s side tires were cut. Sept. 7, 8:45 a.m.
•An East River Road, Louisburg, resident reported larceny after someone removed mail from her mailbox without her permission. Sept. 7, 10:51 a.m.
•An N.C. 58, Centerville, resident reported larceny after someone took a bicycle from her property. Sept. 7, 12:52 p.m.
•A Cranbrooke Drive, Franklinton, resident reported larceny after someone removed five pieces of wood from a construction site at 65 Canterberry Drive, Youngsville. Sept. 7, 6:06 p.m.
•A Balance Rock Road, Kittrell, resident reported larceny after he noticed jewelry, three flatscreen TVs, clothes and two handguns were missing from his house. Sept. 6, 3:47 p.m.
•A Harris Road, Youngsville, resident reported larceny after someone took a pair of reading glasses from inside her vehicle. Sept. 6, 5:18 p.m.
•A Beasley Road, Louisburg, resident reported a breaking and entering after she returned home and noticed her side door had been forced open. A Hew-lett Packard laptop and a car stereo were reported missing, as well as damage to the framing of the door. Sept. 6, 6:02 p.m.

•Jennifer Lynn Nichols, 28, 1342 Rio Valley Drive, Raleigh, in Falls, was issued a citation to appear in court by State Highway Patrol Trooper S. Reed on Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, for misdemeanor driving while impaired. Sept. 7, 2:25 a.m.
•Bryson Darrin Oakley, 26, 5809 Morning Star Lane, Youngsville, was arrested on a warrant by Wake County Sheriff’s Deputy J.W. Price at his residence and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering and violating a domestic violence protective order. Sept. 8, 9:09 p.m.
•Shoplifting was reported at a supermarket on the 8400 block of Louisburg Road, Raleigh, near Wake Crossroads. Sept. 11, 8 p.m.
•Aaron Tommie Lee Woodard, 19, and Tyree Sakwan Lee, 20, both of 3700 Watkins Ridge Court, Raleigh, in Wake Crossroads, were arrested on warrants by Raleigh Police Officer J.H. Crews at their residence and charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and maintaining a vehicle or place for a controlled substance. Sept. 9, 4:45 p.m.
•Ernesto Salazar Venites, 28, 512 Golden Acres St., Rolesville, was arrested by State Highway Patrol Trooper K. Solana at 2224 Mitchell Mill Road, Raleigh, in Wake Crossroads, and charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired and driving without a license. Sept. 7, 10:30 p.m.

•Michael Stephen Williams, 54, 5632 Clear Springs Drive, Wake Forest, was arrested on a warrant by Wake County Sheriff’s Deputy K.L. Mann at the Wake County jail annex and charged with misdemeanor failure to support a child and failure to support a spouse. He is also awaiting trial for two failure to appear in court charges. He was taken to the Wake County jail on a $7,000 secured bond. Sept. 11, 5:53 p.m.
•Kirstie Lee Richardson, 21, 406 Dacus Place, Wake Forest, was arrested on a warrant by Raleigh Police Officer C.O. Kay at the Wake County jail annex and charged with felony embezzlement. Sept. 10, 7:33 p.m.
