NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF WAKE FOREST
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
EXCHANGE OF EASEMENT
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 160A-271, the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Wake Forest (“Town”) hereby states its intention to authorize the exchange of a certain Town-owned easement for a certain easement to be dedicated by Forestville Road Investments, LLC (“Forestville”).
The exchange involves easements located on certain adjacent parcels of land located west of Forestville Road and north of Foxwild Lane and identified by Wake County Parcel Identification Numbers 1749-66-3478 (“Parcel A”) and 1749-76-9436 (“Parcel B”). The Town owns a 26,272/sf Public Sanitary Sewer and Greenway Easement in the southwest corner of Parcel A (“Town Easement”). Forestville owns a 27,857/sf, fifty-foot (50’) Public Sanitary Sewer Easement, a 6,718/sf, twenty-foot (20’) Raleigh Sanitary Sewer Easement, and a 15,262/sf, twenty-foot (20’) Raleigh Sanitary Sewer Easement located on Parcel A; along with a 43,432/sf forty-foot (40’) Public Sanitary Sewer Easement located on Parcel B (together the “Forestville Easement”).
The Town intends to grant to Forestville the Town Easement, and Forestville intends to grant to the Town the Forestville Easement, such easements will be used to facilitate development of the parcel and provide essential easements for the Town. Based on a Broker Opinion of Value, the value of the Town Easement is $6,043.00 and the value of the Forestville Easement is $21,452.00.
All persons interested in this exchange are invited to attend the meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held in the Town Hall Board Room, 301 South Brooks Street, Wake Forest, N.C., at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
