LOUISBURG — The Red Rams traveled to county rival Louisburg High for their first away game of the season, besting the Warriors 50-28.
Tallying 503 yards of offense in 52 plays, the Red Rams charged their way into the win column for the second time in a row.
Franklinton’s starting quarterback, Daquan Neal, went 8-for-14, attacking the Warriors from the air with two touchdown passes and then running in two touchdowns to show off his footwork skills as well.
Travon Judkins caught two touchdown passes and had 5 receptions for 102 yards.
Rondez Taylor returned another kickoff, resulting in a 80-plus-yard touchdown for the second game in a row. And, Mike Waverly caught a 51-yard touchdown pass.
With the assistance of the defense led by Shyhiem Jones, J.C. Henderson, Dominik Cotton and Justus Sapp, the Red Rams secured another win and kept the Warriors down by 20-plus points.
Franklinton will travel to Henderson Friday to take on the Northern Vance Vikings (0-2). Game time is at 7 p.m.
