Rev. Lenora Jones Mangum, 81, of Wake Forest, died Saturday evening, Sept. 7, 2013 at Hillside Nursing Center. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Jessie and Ruby Jones and spent her entire life serving the Lord as a minister.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Falls Community Cemetery.
Rev. Mangum is survived by her husband, Gene Mangum; daughter, Luella Sauls of Macclesfield; sisters, Eva Pleasants and Janie DaSilva, both of Wake Forest, and Linda Hunter of Rolesville; grandsons, David Sauls of Wilmington and Jonathan Sauls of Cumming, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elma O’Neal.
Pallbearers were Rev. Rodney Harp, Rev. Tim Cowan, Bob Grubb, Dwight Harding, and Rev. Randy Stallings.
