FRANKLIN COUNTY — Safe Space Inc. was the recipient of a check for $7,050 from the SAFCAB Club of Garner, who sponsored the third annual Poker Run and Benefit May 4.
The Poker Run started at Ray Price Harley Davidson in Garner and finished at the Lock and Loaded Grill. The event had local vendors, a dunking booth, raffles, local bands and BBQ plates.
SAFCAB’s goal is to raise awareness of domestic violence to the public and to support shelters that provide safe havens for those in need.
Safe Space is a nonprofit organization established to help domestic violence victims and their children.
