Samuel Joseph Johnson, 23, of Wake Forest passed away Tuesday morning, June 25, 2013, due to a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., Jan. 18, 1990. He graduated from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School in 2008.
Johnson’s interests included searching for arrowheads with his sister, working with cars, fishing, sports, writing, recording and mixing music and being with his friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6 at the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. Attendees are asked to bring one flower each to be placed in a communal vase.
Johnson is survived by his parents, Mike and Carol Johnson of Wake Forest; a sister, Lindsay Johnson and her fiancé, Alan Brandon; a niece, Lilly of Wake Forest; grandparents, Bob and Sally Johnson of Grandville, Mich.; 28 aunts and uncles; 30 cousins; and other extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Virginia Roehling.
