Sara Frances Catlette Davis, 90, of Youngsville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Sid Catlette and Lizzie Ray Catlette and was a member of Stony Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Nov. 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Stony Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Elizabeth Allen, Faye Beddingfield and Betty Woodard and husband, Jerry, all of Youngsville; grandchildren, Linda Ellis and husband, Eric, Jessica Woodard Morris, Sarah A. Davis, Jessie Beddingfield and wife, Jennifer, Edward Allen and wife, Dale, and Steve Allen and wife, Jan; great-grandchildren, Joseph Freeman, Christina Goss and husband, Andy, Timmothy Kearns, Tyler Morton, Madyson Morris, Aiden Beddingfield, Christie Allen Pearce and husband, Jerry, Donald Weaver and wife, April, Laurel Allen, and Landon Allen and wife, Brandy; great-great-grandchildren, Haylie Nicole Goss, Dillon Weaver, Colby Pearce and Jackson Pearce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie William Davis; son, William Davis and sisters, Pearl Marshall and Macie Moore.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of Wake County and to Juanita Dunn for their care during this difficult time.
Pallbearers were Jerry Woodard, Tyler Morton, Timmothy Kearns, Joseph Freeman, Edward Allen, and Steve Allen.
