SAT/ACT practice tests offered

WAKE COUNTY — Wake County Public Libraries, in collaboration with Kaplan Test Prep, offer free practice sessions in August for the SAT and ACT. The sessions involve taking a practice test and then covering results and strategies for improvement at the “give back” review a few weeks later. The give back session also provides information about the differences between the two exams.
Practice tests will be offered at the following locations:

•Aug. 17, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at East Regional Library, 946 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale, 919-217-5300. The give back session is Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
•Aug. 20, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Cameron Village Library, 1930 Clark Ave., Raleigh, 919-856-6710. The give back session is Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
•Aug. 24, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephens Drive, Cary, 919-463-8500. The give back session is Set. 16 at 7 p.m.
