•Birthday lunch for tracks 1 and 3 is Sept. 4. Parents are welcome to have lunch with their birthday child.
Wake Forest Elementary

•The PTA was awarded a National PTA Healthy Lifestyles: Energy Balance 101 Grant for $2,000. These grants are funded by the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation.
•Cherrydale Farms fundraiser forms are due Sept. 4. The funds raised are going toward improving the playground and furnishing Smartboards for classrooms currently without. If you don’t have a form, go to cherrydale.com.
•The school store opens Sept. 5 and Spirit nights are Sept. 9-11 at Sweet Spoons.

Wake Forest Middle
•The first PTSA meeting of the new year is Sept. 3, 6 p.m. in the media room.

Wake Forest High
•Volunteer registration is under way. Volunteer no later than 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the school.
•The new school websites have launched to reflect Wake Forest High rather than Wake Forest-Rolesville High. All domains have remained the same, except for “wfrhs” has changed to “wfhs” in each website address.
•The next meeting of the Athletic Booster Club will be Sept. 9, 7 p.m. in the athletic building behind the Lindey Gym.

Thales Junior/Senior High
