•Beginning Jan. 2, students will only be released to vehicles showing school-issued carpool tags. Cars not displaying such will be asked to pull over and go into the office to obtain appropriate identification before a child can be released.
•Mark your calendar: Dec. 10, yearbook orders are due.
•Spirit Week is Dec. 9-13 and includes Inside-Out Monday, Copy Cat Tuesday, WES Pride Wednesday, Crazy Hair/Hat Thursday and Flashback Friday.

•The next Franklinton High School Alliance meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 12, 8:15 a.m. at Franklinton High School. After the general meeting, members will tour the CTE (Career & Technical Education) classes. All members are welcome to attend this meeting and to go on the tour as well.
•Ms. Hailey’s class won the contest for raising the most money for Miracle League of Franklin County and will have a pizza party with country music singer Jason Michael Carroll Monday, Dec. 9. A total of $2178.12 was raised, Hailey’s class making up $438.61 of that amount.
Wake Forest High
•The Senior Class of 2014 parents and volunteers and friends will host a holiday luncheon for WFHS senior class 2014 and teachers and staff Friday, Dec. 20 at 1:15 p.m. in the Cougar cafeteria.

•2013-2014 WFHS Athletic Season Passes have been reduced, $30 for students and $70 for adults. This is a great value as they will provide access to all remaining regular season games for all sports.

•Senior Class of 2014 and Senior Parents/Guardians: In order to be eligible for the upcoming WFHS Senior PTSA-Athletic Booster Club Scholarship Awards presented in May, the senior student will need to be a PTSA member ($5), as well as at least one parent/guardian will need to be a member of both the PTSA ($10) & Athletic Booster Club ($5) when completing the requirements of submitting the essay application for selection consideration to the PTSA Scholarship Committee.
