-Elementary school news-

Wake Forest Elementary:

•Parents are invited to join the PTA at wfepta.org/join-pta.

Wakefield Elementary:

-Middle school news-

Heritage Middle:

•Schedule pick-up for track 4, July 25, 4:30-7 p.m.
•The PTA seeks volunteers for hospitality, cultural arts and the eighth grade celebration. E-mail monicamassey3@nc.rr.com to volunteer.
•Volunteers are needed for beautification of school grounds. To volunteer, e-mail Brenda Dunn at bwdunn@nc.rr.com.
•PTA welcome packets are available at tinyurl.com/PTApackePr.
•Join Heritage Middle for an open house. This is an opportunity for parents to follow their child’s schedule to learn about the curriculum and meet the teachers.
Open house for tracks 1 and 2 will be Aug. 1 5:30-8 p.m. Tracks 3 and 4 will have open house Aug. 29 5:30-8 p.m. Parents will be able to complete volunteer registration 5:30-6:30 p.m., attend the PTA/School Information Session meeting 6:30-7 p.m. and meet teachers 7-8 p.m.

Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle:

-High school news-

Heritage High:

•School information is updated regularly at tinyurl.com/HeritagePTA.

Wake Forest High:

•The next regularly planned Athletic Booster Club meeting is Monday, 7 p.m. in the athletic building behind the gym.
•Tickets to Play will be issued in the main lobby of the school Thursday, July 18, 3-5 p.m.; Friday, July 20, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Monday, July 29, 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday, July 30, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Necessary paperwork includes participation and physical forms, code of ethics, student athlete travel form and impact concussion form. All physicals must have been completed after Nov. 15, 2012.
•The next regularly scheduled general membership meeting of the Wake Forest High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association will be Aug. 13, 7 p.m. in the school media center.
The PTSA chapter meets the second Tuesday at 7 p.m. every month unless otherwise noted.
Memberships may be renewed or begun for just $10 per person and can be mailed to Wake Forest High, attention: PTSA or online at wfrhsptsa.com.

Wakefield High:

•Join the PTA at wakefieldhsconnect.org.

Franklinton High:

•The next meeting of the Franklinton High Business Alliance will be in August.
