This beauty was on display during last year's contest.

YOUNGSVILLE — Bakers, start your mixers! It’s time to prepare for the annual Gingerbread House Contest.
Prizes are awarded in both adult and youth categories with cash prizes of $20 for first place, $15 for second, $10 for third and $5 for fourth.

Of course having bragging rights for the winners is priceless!

Everyone that enters the contest will receive a small gift.

All materials must be edible and for the youth entries, they may use graham crackers instead of baking.

All entries should be brought to the Youngsville Armory Friday, Dec. 6 between noon and 3 p.m.

The houses will be on display at the armory during the Old Time Christmas celebration Saturday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

For questions, contact Linda Whitehouse, 919-556-2689.
