Stella Killian of Youngsville, passed away Jan. 6, 2014 at the Hospice Home in Wake County after a courageous battle with cancer. Stella was born Oct. 2, 1965, in Sacramento, Calif, the youngest of five children.
Stella graduated from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla. in 1983. She lived in New York for a short time before relocating to North Carolina. Stella worked as a paralegal for the Clifton & Singer law practice in Raleigh before becoming a real estate agent with Allen Tate. Stella often commented on how her co-workers at Allen Tate Realty were more like family than friends, and their support of Stella during her battle with cancer was amazing.
Stella was loved by many and shared her heart with Kevin Olmstead, her loving partner. Her true calling in life was mother to her two children, son Bruce and daughter Cierra.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at Bright Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. followed by a celebration of Stella’s life at Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville, 8-10 p.m.
