A graveside service for family and friends was held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. Friends visited with the family following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Haven 8431-137 Garvey Drive Raleigh, NC 27616.
