RALEIGH — The N.C. Museum of History has announced that travel grants will be available to North Carolina public schools this fall to help cover part of transportation costs to the museum in Raleigh. Local North Carolina schools may qualify.
Title I public schools, Title VII American Indian schools, and other schools with a high percentage of low-income or at-risk students have priority. The travel grants are made possible by a gift from the Museum of History Associates.
To apply for a travel grant, see ncmuseumofhistory.org/travel-grants or NCMOH.com and search travel grants. Submit applications early to ensure a better chance of receiving a grant.
For more information, contact Chelsea Weger at firstname.lastname@example.org or 919-807-7984. All applications must be received by Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.
