WAKE FOREST – The Wake Forest volunteer tree nursery will hold its grand opening Oct. 23, 6 p.m.
Located on 701 Harris Road, E. Carroll Joyner Park, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony which will include brief remarks by Mayor Vivian Jones and members of the Urban Forestry Board.
Parking is available in the Joyner Park parking lot. Volunteers and directional signage will guide visitors to the grand opening site. However, please allow at least 10 minutes to walk to the tree nursery.
