WAKE FOREST — State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) representatives, along with WFHS Business Alliance members, will host a one-day financial education workshop Thursday, March 17, 8 a.m.-2:15 p.m. in the auxiliary gym for Wake Forest High School students.
The Reality of Money simulation activity gives students a peek into the future as they are getting closer to transitioning from high school to college and/or the world of work.
Volunteers are needed for the event. If you've ever paid bills or managed a family/personal budget then you are more than qualified to volunteer. Volunteers will arrive at 8 a.m. and receive a quick training from NCSECU.
For questions about volunteering or the event itself, contact Susan Tyson, Career Development Coordinator at Wake Forest High School firstname.lastname@example.org, 919-554-8628.
