WAKE FOREST — The above young ladies competed in the state contest in August, and will represent North Carolina at the national pageant, held in Orlando, Fla. over Thanksgiving.
Since 1983, Miss American Coed Pageants have helped young ladies develop poise and self-confidence while competing in family-oriented and age-appropriate contests.
This natural pageant system encourages young ladies to express themselves on stage, while striving to reinforce the teachings of home, school, church and community.
Volunteer work and giving back to the community is the integral part of Miss American Coed Pageants. Prior to taking this picture, Nicole, Jennifer and Mahika helped make blankets for Covered in Love, Wake Forest non-profit ministry that helps moms find hope after miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss.
